First, we invite you to read this groundbreaking article here.
This article is a recent publishing where Ann Arbor, MI, has effectively decriminalized the distribution of psilocybin mushrooms.
City Council voted unanimously Monday night, Sept. 21, in favor of a resolution declaring it’s the city’s lowest law enforcement priority to investigate and arrest anyone for planting, cultivating, purchasing, transporting, distributing, engaging in practices with or possessing entheogenic plants or plant compounds. That includes ayahuasca, ibogaine, mescaline, peyote, psilocybin mushrooms and other substances with hallucinogenic properties deemed illegal under state and federal law.
This makes Ann Arbor, MI the fourth city in the United States to decriminalize psilocybin mushrooms. (After Denver, CO, Oakland, CA and Santa Cruz, CA). However, it is the first city to decriminalize the distribution of Psilocybin mushrooms within the USA.
What is The Difference Between
Decriminalization and Legalization?
Decriminalization is the act of removing criminal prosecution against an act or behavior.
So the decriminalization of psilocybin mushrooms means it would technically remain “illegal”, but the legal system would not prosecute a person for “planting, cultivating, purchasing, transporting or distributing” psilocybin mushrooms, such as the case with Ann Arbor, MI.
Legalization is the process of removing all legal prohibitions against it, nationally. Psilocybin mushrooms would then be available to the adult general population for purchase and use at will, similar to tobacco and alcohol.
So, until Psilocybin mushrooms becomes legal on national level, it would become decriminalized, city by city, and state to state… This is exactly what we are seeing happen, slowly but surely.
This is a process that takes time, just like we see with cannabis. But it is absolutely under way, and unfolding with incredible progress around the entire United States.
So Is It Legal To Purchase,
Even If I Don’t Live In Ann Arbor, MI?
Technically speaking, it is still considered “illegal” to purchase psilocybin mushrooms, if you are living outside of the cities where it is decriminalized.
However, the movement for psilocybin mushrooms becoming nationally legal, and recognized as true medicine, is a movement we are so incredible blessed to be able to watch unfold on the planet. It is just a matter of time. We truly believe within the next few years, we will see psilocybin legal on a national level.
Note: we ship discretely, packaging all products as you would receive any other supplement in the mail.
With that being said, in all honesty, we believe this isn’t a question about legality, but morality.
It used to be illegal to sit in front of the bus if you were black-skinned.
Yet, slavery was legal until just recently…
Even the holocaust was considered “legal”.
So, when it comes to your rights to purchase this medicine… legality isn’t the question here. But what you believe is RIGHT or WRONG, is.
We believe the freedom of your own consciousness is YOURS, and nobody else’s.
Not the government or the nation you live in to decide… what you get to experience with your own life, if you are not causing harm to anybody else.
The Freedom of Consciousness… and the right you have to explore these sacred plant teachers for your own personal and spiritual evolution and expansion… is not a question about if it is legal, but it is a question of if you believe you are entitled to choose what to do with your own life and the impulse within you that seeks growth, truth and freedom.
We say, it is absolutely your own Freedom of Right, and Freedom of Will, to be able to decide what to do with your own exploration of Consciousness, Life and Truth.
So, the distribution of psilocybin mushrooms and this conscious business venture that you see on this website, is considered decriminalized, as we have permission on a city level to do what we do.
For you, you now have the option to experience the magic and healing power of psilocybin mushrooms and it is up to YOU to decide, not based on legality, but on MORALITY, if this is right or wrong for you.
As quoted by the Ann Arbor resolution:
“The use of entheogenic plants, which can catalyze profound experiences of personal and spiritual growth, have been shown by scientific and clinical studies and traditional practices to be beneficial to the health and well-being of individuals and communities in addressing these conditions. Practices with entheogenic plants have been sacred to human cultures for thousands of years, yet those seeking them today to improve their health and wellbeing have feared arrest and prosecution” […]
