After having done a few ceremonies and being more familiarized with their effect, it is safer, indeed, to experiment this, and, from my experience, it can be very beneficial (as long as it’s done with much respect and care, as always). We highly recommend that this is done with at least one person that you can really trust and that will be really at hand in case you need some assistance, and ideally also with a quiet place to sit or lie down nearby, in case it’s needed.
